Managed to find a Zouk instructor in Mexico City for a class in my short time there (now I'm on a bus deep into the Oaxacan mountains). Last time I took this bus there was no chance of internet on a phone! Things are changing fast. Sound on If you want some context!pic.twitter.com/zsn0pe4wyx

The battle lines are being drawn with the emerging economies being the place where energy is being invested. The question: Which ones works better: libertarian run multinational technology companies or semi-state run technology companies? What is your money on?pic.twitter.com/iv76ksPdcb

Within 50 meters in Mexico City I see two signs that show that we are essentially in a new cold war with the battleground being attention as mediated through the internet. Look out for the next one which makes this clear.pic.twitter.com/xBq9uI1HR9

Continuing my thread as I arrive in Mexico before my ten day retreat. Usually my experience with
@Airbnb hasn't been that great but this one was the quality of a four or five
hotel but quite economical as well. Might be my spot as I come in and out of CDMX.pic.twitter.com/6o9FeqZCXEPrikaži ovu nit -
I almost tripped over one of these things today which I assume was being piloted by someone a few blocks away in the office I found months ago. Please retweet this so that
@felipekiwi90 will consider coming on the show and telling me the backstory of@kiwicampus! https://twitter.com/StewartalsopIII/status/1201971617112436743 …pic.twitter.com/2uvkaBAEzE -
My little paradise was invaded by a hailstorm. I accidentally left my house without my keys in the middle of it with only my boxer shorts. I got locked out. Intense lightning was happening only a few feet away. I had to knock on my neighbors door to protect from lightning!pic.twitter.com/W90On6ZiZE

Here is my non medical opinion (but very interested in the subject and I teach breathwork)pic.twitter.com/mfeZT7EQDA

Now I'm starting to understand the draw of religious ceremony for people who didn't have television or other fruits of cities. It's a full sensory experience. The priest put a smelly oil on the kids head and said you have to smell it because if you can't smell it u are possessed.pic.twitter.com/EO4KTttavd

Now in bogota for the course on how to be a padrino (godfather) for my new godson. These are the types of priceless experiences that can come from moving to another culture. The priest is telling us how to guide the godsons towards faith in God according to catholic tradition.pic.twitter.com/gtq18j0P6y

For reference, this question came from watching this lecture series by
@vervaeke_john: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRzm_wSR1RU … I highly recommend the whole serieshttps://twitter.com/StewartalsopIII/status/1220436755565944833 … -
Venezuelans here in Colombia are using these as ways to ask for money. They are worthless and they have stacks of them and offer them in exchange for donations of Colombian currency from people. It's really crazy.pic.twitter.com/9kbYDDBiEy

For the bus for about 45 minutes without it coming. Eventually an unmarked taxi who patrols the streets came out and I got in. He took me all the way to where I could catch one of the many buses on the main road. Now I'm in a marked taxi with two other strangers with similar goalpic.twitter.com/PM40S81NQC

Please watch this video to understand why I don't think your analogy is an accurate one, with all due respect:https://youtu.be/B-SMUA3QfVw

I think it's the wrong level of analysis. Speaking of videos from PTs about posture here is one from
@GregLehman.https://youtu.be/cnLxcEMdjVk -
This is translated as: The beginning of wisdom is the fear of God. What a statement. Do you think this is accurate? Is there a relationship between fear of God/universe/ordering principle of nature and having wisdom?pic.twitter.com/7ivDC3uQjU

Everything you do in Colombia requires an ID. Today I got asked for a fingerprint to send a package! A few days ago I was asked for my ID in order to pay for a massage. On average I get asked for my ID about three times a day when I'm out doing errands.pic.twitter.com/lqp4OyivpK

I found this farm where you can go pick the vegetables out of the earth directly. I ate some lettuce on my walk back and I have never tasted something so fresh before. It's pretty cool living in el campo!pic.twitter.com/5YuB6cbV2V

Here is me 20 years ago! Such a long road but glad I'm now in health and that lesson will last until I'm old!pic.twitter.com/xMFZ4MjMb8

This is my morning walk with my new friend who I still don't know what to call. This place, Santa Elena, really is magical and might turn into my yearly escape from the mild winter of San Francisco. I didn't think I would find a place in nature with good internet but
changes.pic.twitter.com/8W3LYOQvEtPrikaži ovu nit -
Now that I'm up in the mountains one of my neighbors dogs follows me into the forest for my morning walk. He isn't neutered so he's still raging with masculine energy and starts fights with all the other dogs in town. I have to hold boundaries more aggressively to match energypic.twitter.com/pWX31lQOK6
