Appreciate the additional info – custom URL's can only be linked to one channel at a time. For your new brand account to take over it, you'll have to remove it from the original channel and claim it on the new brand account. Here's how: https://yt.be/help/4moa

My original channel no longer exists. It was deleted when I made the transfer. Both URLs are redirecting to the same channel, but YouTube isn’t recognizing it as my URL for some reason.

We've confirmed that your new Brand account is linked to your custom URL. The long one is your ID-based URL which is a standard YouTube channel URL that's linked to your channel ID. More info here: https://yt.be/help/LYia

When a user clicks my profile on one of my videos, they are sent to the long ID based URL instead of the custom URL.

Custom URLs are used to give you an easier way of directing people to your channel. It does not delete existing URLs that are currently assigned like the unique ID assigned to your channel (longer URL). As long as your custom URL brings you to your channel, then it is working.

My custom URL has stopped working. The page now says "This channel does not exist." https://www.youtube.com/c/stevoisiak pic.twitter.com/pBJc9VwyIS

Have you tried dropping the c/ when looking up your channel? We were able to locate your channel that way, so let us know if you're still unable to locate your channel using your custom URL. Keep us in the loop!

Thanks for reaching out–if you're eligible, you should see a notice to claim your previous Channel URL. Also–although these URLs can look different from one another, it all point your audience to your channel. More about URLs here: https://yt.be/help/LYia

I see the notice to claim a custom URL, but it says the name is already taken.pic.twitter.com/FpfmAyeU5W

If you've recently removed your custom URL it may take a few days for the URL to be completely removed from the system. You may not be able to reclaim it until then.
