        Money would be better spent paying people and their contacts to isolate. Breaking the chains of transmission is key here. Not shutting things down.

        About time. It’s not as if they didn’t know this could happen. Where’s their plan? What did they do during August? The government themselves are adding to mental health issues because of the stress and anxiety they’ve caused

        This is exactly what @UKLabour and @AnnelieseDodds have been suggesting for months. Glad the government are finally considering doing the right thing, it’s a shame it took so long because this won’t be any help to the businesses that have already gone bust without any support
