I appreciate your writing and you’re right about 98% of the time which is rare on twitter. Maybe it was your boss, maybe it was the comments, but it opened up a lot of valid and important dialogue and you’ve come around quickly. All in all, this whole dialogue was a positive.

The "availability issue" is the one area where I agree you may have erred. As to risk reward: There is no compelling reason we cannot leave that to the doctor and her patient. While there are potentially significant risks to compassionate use, there are also risks to the aged.

Kudos accepting the criticism and changing you opinion. One key issue is gaining public trust IMHO.Several polls have shown that even as of now most people wouldn’t get the vaccine.If you give it out w/out minimally assessing efficacy, the unintended conseq. could b disastrous.
