This is INSANE. How can they not offer protections for our channels? Especially if they haven't done anything wrong, like you! 100% behind you man. So sorry you have to go through this stress.

I agree, the general default should be towards keeping channels safe from being shut down. And any channel past a few hundred thousand subs should always require direct communication before it is shut down. The way things are done now is 100% broken.

They’ve started doing this a lot. Their algorithms are targeting people their other algorithms are labeling for ads. If you fit into a certain algorithmic criteria it will auto-ban you.

Platform access needs to be declared a Civil Right and protected by the 1st Ammendment. That is the only hope to undo this mess, IMO. Banning cannot be allowed except for those literally using these platforms for recruiting and organizing terrorism, or similar.

I agree that platform access should absolutely be civil (or even human) right, but you can't cover platforms that operate world-wide with 1st Amendment per se. That would mean imposing US laws on the rest of the world. Perhaps, just once, UN could do something useful for a change.

The Internet began in the US—it's our responsibility to maintain this great human portal of communicaiton. The EU and UN are globalist garbage. The EU may actually have some hope given nationalist populist parties are surging there, the UN has no such hope.

Well, and I'm not mentioning it just to turn it into a pissing contest, WWW (i.e. net as we know and use it) was invented by an English gentleman https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Berners-Lee …, working for the Swiss at the time. So, ultimately net doesn't and shouldn't belong or be the responsibility

.. of any one nation, we all (people using it) should see that it doesn't go down the toilet, as governments and tech monopolies would have it. I agree that UN is just an useless bureaucracy (thou it would be nice to see them for once do something right), and as for EU...

... you can abandon all hope. It may seem that there is a nationalist uprise here if you're judging by material published by engaged people, but most of average Europeans ("normies") are cluelessly sleepwalking into our doom. See, not even the Brits can wiggle out of EU machine.

The Brits now may be pretty well doomed in the short term—although I'll wait to see the results of the upcoming election. But the "normies" are being out-bred by people who are more of the conservative/nationalist/populist bend, so the future is most certainly not leftist…
