This was earlier in anticipation of protesters...a little further down at Wacker and LaSalle. CLASHES IN THE LOOP
Just witnessed this as people and police were seen rustling with umbrellas, bikes. Mace also came out. @cbschicagopic.twitter.com/tat2vxclb0

The clash happened as the police line slowly creeped up behind protesters. It looked like people got tripped up on bikes. All seems back to marching...as medics treat those who were injured.

UPDATE: I’m told Chicago Police will be having a news conference regarding clashes that left officers & protesters hurt this Saturday in the Loop. This young lady was one example of how people walked away, seemingly pepper sprayed.
