It's 2100. The earth is 4 degrees warmer, the sea 2m higher, the human population 11 billion and consuming 1/3 more energy, great coastal cities are barely recognisable, lower lying areas such as Bangladesh, even substantial parts of the UK are now under the sea

Excellent article on the madness of governments' constant push for population growth. World leaders must enable and encourage small family size instead of pressuring people to have more children to sustain our destructive economic systems.

....and here is a link to the paper by me and adding Nomada bifasciata, the Dusky-horned Nomad Bee, to the UK list earlier in 2019 . Almost certainly a brand new colonist - the result of climate change. It's a cuckoo of Andrena gravida (image 2).

Andrena ampla, the Water-dropwort Mining Bee, new to UK, see: . Not a new colonist. It was discovered by DNA sequencing Andrena proxima to investigate why 2 forms seemed to occur in the UK. Ampla occurs in the SW and Wales, foraging on Oenanthe crocata.
