I guess the idea is that anything with blurry borders is a "social construct," but that's nonsense. The border between childhood and adulthood is blurry, but child vs adult is a very real biological distinction.

1there are differences in patterns of visible physical features which correspond to geographic ancestry 2these patterns are exhibited between real groups 3 these groups that exhibit these physical patterns by geographic ancestry satisfy conditions of minimalist race C race exists

As geneticist Jerry Coyne says, when people say race is a social construct they are simply wrong.

You don't understand algorithms or genetics. The groups depend on what you put into the algorithm, if you want 4 groups or 5 or 100 or 7 billion you can get it, the most precise however is the largest numbers of groups with the fewest individuals.pic.twitter.com/O1dvsj5Ddk

Of course. You could say that about any groups within a species. What the people who claim it is a social construct mean is that
-
There are no clusters that correspond to geographic ancestry. That there is no biological basis for these commonly recognised major
-
Ancestral populations. That, and the claim there aren't human races, is as Jerry Coyne says just wrong.
-
Coyne notes that people who make the social construct claim, seem to mean there are no biological differences between ethnic groups, or
-
That there are no differences aside from skin colour. Both claims are incorrect.https://whyevolutionistrue.wordpress.com/2016/10/17/race-as-a-social-construct/ …

There are differences between all humans, we show continuous variation.

They sure get into trouble when they say too much.

If there are "races" their most precise groupings number in the billions. Humans show continuous variation. There are not 4 or 5 clearly defined biological traditional "races" in modern humans.
