At my second-tier school, we had few White grads, but a majority of Blacks, fail the bar exam. I can’t imagine spending three years in law school, and not being allowed to become a lawyer. There should be a prelim bar exam given after 1L to put laggards out of their misery.

Lower tier law schools accepting students they know won’t pass the bar just for their Fed money is one of the biggest scams in education today.
-
Yes. There are just far, far too many law grads. We need to shut down half the law schools, or force all of them to shrink by 50% or so.
-
I’m sure that would be racist in some way. In our Uber liberal school we just had “racism lives here” where people complained about too many whiteys being professors, etc. Less spots for law school would nessicate a much higher % of diversity admits.

Friends from my top 10 college who were Affirmative Action and who went to law or med school all ended up in advocacy (public health, civil rights) or as professors. Few practice the profession

A young “woke” black guy, a black SNIC veteran, and a liberal white woman (who was proud to chime in w/ “redlining”) decided to lecture me about race and politics yesterday... young guy has a JD... I asked if he practices... Nope, plays music ...

Favored minority students get overplaced at prestigious schools, they can't hack it in STEM majors with the white and Asian elite, so they migrate to humanities and social science departments, steamed with denial and resentment about their academic failure.

Brutal. Med school admissions are at least as bad. Worst of all: The more diversity admissions there are, the angrier & more reactionary the diversity people become.pic.twitter.com/Fn4uTLmNV7

They're only doing so poorly because we've noticed they're doing so poorly. It is our responsibility to double down on pretending & loudly proclaiming that every black anywhere is as talented as their white peers, and they'll start performing as such in no time.

Thank God for anonymous grading. In my t14 it’s the only thing keeping law a meritocracy as far as grades. Law review for us most certainly has diversity spots. I guess at least you know if your a white male at a t14 it’s because you certainly deserved it.
