Nah. Obama used the same self-conscious prose/poetry prose style in his personal letters in his early 20s as he used in "Dreams from My Father." Garrow's 2017 biography suggests a lot of the editing/organizing of "Dreams" was done by his Harvard Law School buddy Rob Fisher.https://twitter.com/BadgerPundit/status/973362310126493696 …

Further evidence for the idea that Obama isn't much interested in writing was amassed by @JackCashill, first in essays and then in a book, who showed it's highly likely that much of Obama's biography was ghostwritten for him by Bill Ayers. https://twitter.com/BadgerPundit/status/908039671866957824 …

If you haven't read the book on this by @JackCashill, you should. His comparison of similarities between books published by Ayers and "Dreams" is compelling -- especially regarding the use of nautical metaphors. https://web.archive.org/web/20160206184921 …pic.twitter.com/uYeYkJkrhx

I agree w/ you that parts of "Dreams" have a self-conscious prose/poetry style that might not have been drafted by Ayers. But I think Cashill's right that many passages sound exactly like Ayers. http://www.cashill.com/natl_general/did_bill_ayers_write_2.htm … … …. I don't believe the same author wrote all these parts.pic.twitter.com/UFnXw3tqyd

I never understood why some people have such a hard time believing Obama wrote dreams. It's thousands of words of self-indulgence on Obama's favorite subject, Obama. Nobody else would have had the patience.

Just as Art of the Deal was ghost written for Mafia Don. But somehow that doesn't seem to bother you.

Some people write things worth reading. Others do things worth writing about. Whatever people think of Trump’s business accomplishments, an awful lot wanted to read about it.

He is very entertaining. When he goes to prison let's give him a reality TV show live from prison.

Moreover: Make immigration into a reality show. Candidates to become new Americans pitch themselves on the ultimate casting show & citizens vote for whom they want to join their communities. What‘s more American than aggressive self-promotion & citizens democratically choosing?

We already vote. Those who want to keep immigrants out can vote Republican. Those who want a sensible immigration policy can vote Democratic.
