According to Charles Murray's "Human Accomplishment," the main corridor of high individual achievement in human history is a fairly narrow one running northwestward from about Naples up the Italian peninsula, along the Rhine, thru Paris, and thru England to southern Scotland.https://twitter.com/Go321D/status/970884901426708480 …

    Steve Sailer added,

Interestingly enough, Charles Murray showed that even some White groups with similar IQs have differing rates of accomplishment. For instance, Western Europeans have much more accomplishment than Russians or Poles in spite of having similar average IQs.

Is 'high' defined qualitatively or quantitatively. There certainly have been high achievers outside this area.

Yes; correct! Of course, if his data extended beyond 1950, it certainly wouldn't help that Eastern Europe lost most of its high-achieving population (the Jews) in the Holocaust.

I'm saying that without the Holocaust, Eastern Europe could have had (much) more human accomplishment after 1945.

Lets start with Karl Marx was Jewish. Most of the Bolshevik leadership consisted of Jews until they too were purged by Stalin. But were purged only after facilitating the Holomodor amongst other mass killings including the die slow gulag system.pic.twitter.com/q1Bus4QX9D

Yes, some Jews joined the Bolsheviks after 1917 for various reasons--such as their belief that the Bolsheviks were better for them than the Whites were. That said, though, weren't most Jews who joined the Bolshevik Party merely opportunists?
