Well, when a half white person is considered black by American social norms, that leaves white identification to the pink- and lilly-hued only. Obama is half white, but is unassailably considered black

Curiously blacks are substantially more likely to uphold hypodescent rules today. From a random PPP polling table I read the other day....pic.twitter.com/8545L6h3R5

Did you know Google is one of the founders of 23 and me? Why in the world should we trust test results from a group of people who have a clear agenda to create a false historical record and manipulate our reality.https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/23andme-is-terrifying-but-not-for-the-reasons-the-fda-thinks/ …

Well TO BE FAIR, there are white people who still hold to the one drop rule. There are probably a lot more leftists holding to it these days than rightists though

My comment on this was in reference to the rarity, but not entirely unsuccessful history, of passing in US history. It is the exception that proves the rule.

Wasn't that the same company that were caught writing fake African DNA in white people's test results, to "screw with racists"? I wouldn't trust anything they say.

How many people who self-identify as Black have a significant proportion of White DNA? I would say most do, as the Whites were allegedly a community of rapists, even those who were so racist they would not even touch a Black person. Racists when were not, rapists when we're not.
