I don't know what the real number of illegal aliens in the country is: 11 million as Pew claims or 23 million as the Yale scholars estimate. But shouldn't the government _know_?https://twitter.com/Steve_Sailer/status/954210334897664001 …

Important (and timely) news: 3 Yale scholars have estimated that the number of "undocumented immigrants" isn't 11 million, but more likely 22.8 million, or twice as many as the conventional wisdom asserts. http://www.unz.com/isteve/yale-researchers-not-11-million-but-22-8-million-undocument-immigrants/ … pic.twitter.com/CayPAdGchH

During Clinton Administration, the estimate was 11 million. Over twenty years later, at a million a year, and the estimate remains at 11 million. Of course, the government knows the real number is closer to 25 million.

Which translates into 60 million new "citizens" in just a decade!

It's worth pointing out that these numbers are very likely to underestimate the share of crime committed by undocumented immigrants.

So let's just follow this train of thought through. What if there were 50 million illegal immigrants? What would your problem be? Are you going to hide behind the legal argument?

If we don’t actually know the number of illegal immigrants then how can we have accurate numbers on the poverty rate, per capita income etc...?

If undocumented immigrants committed crime nationally as they do in Arizona, in 2016 they would have been responsible for over 1,000 more murders, 5,200 rapes, 8,900 robberies, 25,300 aggravated assaults, and 26,900 burglaries. See: https://goo.gl/MsUAgL

If the government did know I would want to know why they aren’t reporting them.
