In reality, the South in 1940 was the most ardently anti-Nazi part of the U.S., in part due to lack of immigrants from Germany, Italy, and Ireland. http://www.unz.com/isteve/retconning-history/ …https://twitter.com/Steve_Sailer/status/953769071295672321 …

Retconning History: A growing myth is that white Southerners c. 1940 sympathized with Nazis. One source is Philip Roth's alternative history novel "Plot Against America" in which isolationist Lindberg crushes FDR in 1940 by sweeping South. http://www.unz.com/isteve/retconning-history/ … Actual 1940: pic.twitter.com/rIJPOuG2za

U Chicago’s Louis Wirth made a list of suspect ethnic groups (his wasn’t in it) for the federal government. Italians and Germans made sense, but he also had Irish and Poles. The commonality of Wirth’s list was their Catholicism, which tied in with WASP suspicion.pic.twitter.com/NNPXjPEHDl

Trump’s coalition is the America First midwestern Protestants + Suspect (Catholic) Ethnics + Southerners With elite Jewish and WASP (what’s left of it) in opposition to this “yeomanry”

Southerners are simultaneously more polite and more belligerent than the national average, just as they are both more conservative and more populist. The Southern psyche contains multitudes

Most southerners have ancestry in the US that predates the 19th century.

Steve! The South didn't receive many of the immigrants from the 1800's, but there were a LOT of earlier immigrations from Ireland and Germany to the South.

The Central Texas Germans enlisted enmasse. I'm not sure this is an apt correlation.

To neo-zionist Jews, ALL White people are "nazis" - especially Southerners. A Jew calling a White Christian a "nazi" is like a KKK calling a Black person "the n word."

One would have thought otherwise considering that returning Black soldiers might be more aggressive in demanding their civil rights, though. Indeed, this is what actually occurred after the end of World War II in real life.
