This is the fundamental question of 2018: Do American citizens have a right to self-government; or do the other seven billion people on Earth have an inalienable civil right to move to America because "America is for everyone"? http://www.unz.com/isteve/toronto-globe-mail-trump-abandoned-fundamental-precept-of-us-that-america-is-for-everyone/ …pic.twitter.com/oPCcM14RVs

When, exactly, was it established as a "precept" that "America is for everyone"? Certainly not by the founding fathers, who were quite explicit that it was /not/.

This basically comes down to 20th century liberals citing their own Ellis Island mythology as evidence of America's "fundamental precepts." The Big Retcon.

Coming to the US is not a right. It is a privilege. We the people decide who comes who stays and who is not welcome. We are a sovereign nation.

And here I thought the goal had always been to export the American dream and way of life to other countries around the world, not destroy it at home.

There is a legal process which allows anyone to apply. Doesn't mean that a person will be accepted, however, everyone has the opportunity to become American

A Canadian newspaper, "The Globe and Mail," says that the U.S. is for everyone! Just wait until all those Salvadorans who lost temporary residency in the U.S. start arriving in Toronto. Will Canada be for everyone?

i am sick to death of dems inventing racism at every turn. Calling countries "Sholes" is not about skin color, it's about performance and quality of life.
