        No. Evolution is considerably harsher than that. In environments with easy access to alcohol genes that leave you vulnerable to alcoholism get eliminated through early death and failure to produce surviving children.

        i once went through an evaluation for alcoholism. they said i was not alcoholic, i just drank a lot. i'm almost entirely german/swedish/english.
