        life expectancy gains from cycling comfortably outweigh risk of injury. Not true of motorcycling, obviously.

        from Spiegelhalter. For averagely fit person, 1hr cycle adds ≈1hr of life. Pollution, accident risk only tiny effect

        none of the fatalities afaik were. it's at junctions where lorries turn left. men tend 2 jump the lights (safer)

        They argue you need to control f demographics, young men cycle more and their rates of dying in traffic are much higher.
