Hope he's not too much like Chesterton, whose facility for paradox can quickly become tiresomely ingenious, except when he constrains it in deference to the seriousness of his subject (religion and war in particular, where his writing can be quite brilliant).

To say that the shortcomings of Yarom Hazony's new book "The Virtue of Nationalism" are similar to the shortcomings of G.K. Chesterton's writings is both reasonable and rather high praise.
