The 3 hard science Nobel Prizes have long been resistant to kowtowing to the Demand for Diversity because, well, they are the immensely prestigious Nobel Prizes and so they don’t have to play that way. But all good things must come to an end. http://www.unz.com/isteve/hard-science-nobels-finally-kowtow-to-demand-for-diversity/ …pic.twitter.com/wDgi5XNwvG

Women won Physics Nobel Prizes in 1903 (Madame Curie) and 1964, but none since. But women have won 6 Medicine/Physiology Nobels since 2004. It's almost as if women today like the Life Sciences (like medicine) more than the Death Sciences (like physics). http://www.unz.com/isteve/hard-science-nobels-finally-kowtow-to-demand-for-diversity/ …pic.twitter.com/iLPnI47Yee

That can't be right. It must be that the stale pale males in bio are less oppressive and sexist than the stale pale males in physics.

Why not create a separate women’s category? No one complains when Serena Williams wins the women’s U.S. Open Alternatively, create the Dr. Christine Blasey Ford prize, to be awarded 35 years after the achievement

Excuse me physics is not a death science. And the opioid epidemic can be laid at the door of medicos.

Makes sense considering that there's a stereotype that girls like to build things while boys like to crush things. ;)

It’s more likely the GMVH + the obvious fact that physics is harder than medicine/physiology.

I have seen doctors my entire life, and taken my parents and others to the doctor, and I’ve never encountered an African American doctor. I’ve had whites, Hispanics, Chinese and Indian. I know they attend med school and that they exist. Where do they practice?

Father of the Atomic Bomb is fake news. Just more media positioning. No one gets credit for that. But it's another addition to history progressives got away with.
