The 3 hard science Nobel Prizes have long been resistant to kowtowing to the Demand for Diversity because, well, they are the immensely prestigious Nobel Prizes and so they don’t have to play that way. But all good things must come to an end. http://www.unz.com/isteve/hard-science-nobels-finally-kowtow-to-demand-for-diversity/ …pic.twitter.com/wDgi5XNwvG

Women won Physics Nobel Prizes in 1903 (Madame Curie) and 1964, but none since. But women have won 6 Medicine/Physiology Nobels since 2004. It's almost as if women today like the Life Sciences (like medicine) more than the Death Sciences (like physics). http://www.unz.com/isteve/hard-science-nobels-finally-kowtow-to-demand-for-diversity/ …pic.twitter.com/iLPnI47Yee

Instead putting a thumb on the scale to diversify existing Nobel Prizes are there any new categories they could add that would disproportionately reward the gifts with which the "diverse" have been disproportionately blessed?

I'm actually quite serious, but at the moment can only think of silly categories like: "Self-Esteem & Poise" "Spicy Cuisine" "Rhythm & Dance" as well as the many events already considered in Summer Olympics competition.

It seems to be just a suggestion to appease demands for diversity. Let's see if this is really going to be taken seriously. I actually doubt it. The list of people who are generally cited as people who deserved to win a Nobel, but for whatever reason did not win, tend to have a

similar demographic of the people who actually won the Nobel Prize. One or two Romanians, an Italian-American, a German Nazi, two Canadian whites, two Jews, and an Indian who worked with Einstein come to mind. Basically all of the prestigious math / computing / science awards

tend to be relatively free from the obligation to diversify their winners. It's not just the Nobel. And because the prize that decides to do this runs the risk of making a joke of itself and losing prestige to the others, there is not much incentive for any of them to do so.

Nobel prize should be for best only. Nothing to do with diversity. Shame, I though the era of diversity was coming to an end! Oh well, I've been sceptical of the Nobel prize since it was given to the Communist Mandela & the Globalist Obama.pic.twitter.com/6ZkeKAdqWH

Increasingly, the Cult of Diversity is an all or nothing gambit. Just as Hungary is not permitted to exempt itself from mass immigration, No tradition or institution will be allowed Neutrality from the Diversity Revolution.
