Also: In Armenian culture, it's normal to be a virgin in your early 20s, especially if you're an educated woman. Ditto traditional English culture. I think a lot of the MeToo/campus rape stuff is a reaction that K-selected peoples are having to "r-selected" social pressures.

There are certainly Armenian, English, Japanese, etc. who are psychologically suited to numerous sexual partners, debauchery, and so forth. But not as many as pop culture wants them to think, and the people who are queasy about it at a young age shouldn't be deemed losers.

During my senior year of high school, I listened to the Modern Scholar CD series while doing menial volunteer work. By the time I was at university, I already had a solid grasp of what my classes would be about. I actually LOST 15 pounds during my first semester as a freshman...

So there is a lot to commend about listening/watching highly erudite give lectures on CD/DVD. You get all the best parts of university (especially if you read the books discussed), but without the venomous, prosecutorial atmosphere, aren't exposed to the drinking culture, etc.
