No shame in Slate chasing huge female market these days. Everybody's got to make a living. It's not like the 1990s anymore when the Richest Man in the World was subsidizing Michael Kinsley to make Slate his dream magazine. Slate's retained a little more dignity than The Atlantic

So sad but so true. I stumbled on The Atlantic in a public library 20 years ago when I read a long piece in it about Ted Kaczynski and I was so impressed I subscribed to it for years before being disgusted by how it veered so far left. It's a shell of what it once was.

The Widow Jobs recently bought The Atlantic, so they ought to have plenty of money now, but they still seem addicted to having 20-something interns churn out cheap Intersectional Take Clickbait.
