Real diversity is having different cultures in different countries. If I go to London there is no difference from going to Stockholm or Islamabad Same shops, same people. If you have exotic in the local strip mall, whats the fun of traveling to far away contries?

"whats the fun of traveling to far away contries?" We're not here to have fun, we're here to be not racist. Fun sounds suspiciously racist.

And here I thought it was all about attracting exotic restaurants.

Even given that diversity shares a root meaning with divided, it's merely an attribute like size or weight. Support for "diversity" is like saying you're in favor of viscosity.

We need variety, not diversity. I don't want to travel a thousand miles and instantly feel at home because everything is the same grey, multi-culti stew as the place I've just left. A strip mall of misery

No, Steve, the true test of Diversity is whether every strip mall on Earth has at least one Congolese, Ethiopian, Nigerian, Ghanian, and/or Tanzanian restaurant.

Kenyan restaurants don't count since we already had a half-Kenyan as our Commander-in-Chief. Thus, Kenyan restaurants are no longer considered exotic.
