I was pointing out in science the truth is already known to us as in recognizing the truth. Implies pre knowledge. Not sure about political culture.

The more a scientific result conflicts with our emotions, the more it will be resisted. Our world geocentric or heliocentric? Intelligent design? Noble Savage? Darwin v. Adam & Eve. HBD or a single human genome. There is no Y chromosome.

Science is hard. Writing B.S. English papers is easy because the grading is largely subjective. U.S. students are more lazy and career-minded than stupid.
