@razibkhan And children are highly flexible in language acquisition until about age 12. Your vocab at age 3 does not even remotely determine your vocab at age 8 or age 13. -

Never in the news but I see it in real life plenty: college educated men who don't have jobs. The wife works and the husband takes care of the children/home and does a lousy job. Mr. Mom is only in the movies. Mom never gets to stay home.

Steve, whenever I watched the nanny-child interaction, or lack thereof, at a local playground, I wondered the same. Mothers and white caretakers were so very different. It was astounding.
