Asian Indians are the highest income ethnic group in America. Why do Indian immigrant businessmen qualify for profitable government preferences for minorities? They used to not be eligible because they were lumped in with Caucasians, but then demanded to be "Asians" to qualify.https://twitter.com/Steve_Sailer/status/1036815727494197249 …

Why do Indian immigrant businessmen get affirmative action preferences in US government contracting and low interest minority business development loans from the Small Business Administration? Until being declared Not White in 1982, South Asians didn't qualify for these benefits. https://twitter.com/Steve_Sailer/status/1036796014936580097 …

The real question is why immigrants are qualified at all for government preferences.

I've noticed the City of Phila assessment office, licenses & inspections, etc, suddenly have tons of Deepaks working there. It really isn't fair, they get to compete head to head with blacks for those minority slots and the blacks just have no chance.

Same where I live. Much easier to fill your diversity quotas with immigrant engineers' wives than surly denizens of the hood.

We get preferences? I do know that we have to score higher at SAT to get into university. So I’d be grateful if you have any link to explain thi. Guess this explains why many Indian businessmen vote Dem.

It’s absurd to lump in Hmong or Khmer with Taiwanese or Japanese. Asia is the biggest continent for god’s sake, the racial diversity is vast.

Why do Indians qualify for preferences? Easy smeasy. If you enlarge the "coalition of the fringes" you get more votes, more power, and, you get to stick it to whitey to boot!

Steelman would be that Indians are still less wealthy than they would be absent discrimination and that this is worthy of correction. Affirmative action is usually justified either on those grounds or as a form of restitution for other things, like slavery, et cetera.

Isn’t the cost for the same degree as a US citizen 5x less in India? Average IQ of 82 but if the top 10% / right of bell curve leave for the USA that’s still 130 million. We need total reform in all things immigration. Indians are as bad as Latinos for the culture.

The U.S. Census Bureau made a mistake in lumping Indians with Caucasians in the first place. It should have kept the "Hindoo" category from the early 20th century.
