http://www.unz.com/isteve/the-bronze-age-of-bronze-statues/ … Here's a new bronze statue, apparently in Mölndal, Sweden. That suburb of 63,000 took in 4,041 unaccompanied minor migrants in 2015. I’m not sure who, exactly, is being depicted, but lots of Intersectional Pokemon Points.pic.twitter.com/zutdDSXNaN

I particularly like the local oldster with the cane attempting to flee from this objet d’art newly plopped in his town square, but clearly in slow motion, as in a nightmare. There should be a statue of him called “White Flight: You Can Run, But You Cannot Hide.”

http://www.unz.com/isteve/the-bronze-age-of-bronze-statues/ … In totally unrelated news, from today's NYT: "Sweden Was Long Seen as a ‘Moral Superpower.’ That May Be Changing." Why won’t all those angry, extremist Swedes listen to the wise, temperate advice of Somalis about for whom they should vote?pic.twitter.com/VTpniiHUJf

With a facial expression marked by a sullen sneer & gritted teeth plus gesturing with a balled fist & raised back of the hand, the artist skillfully captures the NewSwedish spirit of gratitude, appreciation, cooperation & solidarity for OldSwedish hospitality welcoming NewSwedes. https://twitter.com/Steve_Sailer/status/1036731067628044289 …

It’s not clear how anyone could be proud of this piece as it could easily be perceived as satirical with the Medusa hair, scornful hand gesture, and “flashing of the grill” oral derision.

This controversial statue in downtown San Jose, Cal., "Quetzalcoatl", was meant to "honor the city's Mexican-American heritage." I surmised that the artist's working title for the piece was "Montezuma's Revenge".https://www.kqed.org/news/11668265/the-serpent-statue-in-san-jose-that-people-think-is-something-else …
