If you substitute "Affordable Family Formation" for "Sexism" when reading this, this turns out to be a subversive article: How Sexism Follows Women From the Cradle to the Workplacehttps://nyti.ms/2Mz0ihK

Ohio-PA contrast is interesting. Similarly Montana sticks out in relation to it's neighbors. WY similar to the Northeast?

WY a bleak desolate place outside of a few towns and the towns like Jackson are over run by Cali libs escaping taxation and Mormons being squeezed by high costs of hosting said white liberals and their 1.2 children.

Also, as a side note, if one wants to start a family very badly and lives in a blue state, one could try moving to a cheaper, more red state. California had an exodus of NonHispanic Whites in recent years--might this be because they strongly want to start families & live cheaper?

To elaborate on this, it's possible that high housing prices are not as much of a constraint on having large families as one might think due to the fact that one has the option of relocating to a cheaper area and starting a family there.

South Dakota another no income tax state with relatively high housing costs. And a large portion of it basically desolate country or close to the Rez which have quality of life issues that makes Chicago look like Elysium.

... is there to family values? Also, Yes, the Dems should make it easier to build a lot of housing in liberal metropolitan areas. If they want a lot of immigration into this country, they might as well also make it much easier to build a lot of housing here.
