Never really came up tbh. Not many non-Jews want to emigrate to Israel. When Swedes volunteered in kibbutzim and some stayed we were happy to have them.

So why do you need a wall to keep out Africans?
-
There’s an obvious difference between merit based emigration and accepting hundreds of thousands of refugees in a 8-million person country. We brought in the Jews from Ethiopia and are still seeing how hard it is to integrate a large group of people coming from a poor country.
-
Yep. I don't have problem with your wall. It would be nice if the diaspora Jews wouldn't kick up such a fuss about a wall for us goyim.
-
The main problem with the wall is that it’s super expensive and won’t solve the problem of overstayed visas. Few think there’s a problem with having a border fence/wall specifically.
-
Super expensive = 3 months worth of the cost of the Iraq occupation.
-
AFAIK Republicans passed a huge tax bill with all Democrats opposing. If Republicans actually thought the wall was a good idea they could make it happen. But anyway, wall on Southern border not really related to merit based immigration.

Correct. Israel is the state of the Jewish people. We're not the state of the high-IQ peoples of the world. OTOH, the business of America is business. If poisoning the white proles with Fentanyl and bringing in millions of Han and Brahmins makes the shares go up, well...
-
Put another way, Singapore has no problem replacing its native population with whoever has a high IQ and is willing to work hard and not chew gum. The US isn't Singapore, but it's not Israel either. Always been somewhere in between.

I mean, I understand that some people want to preserve their country's ethnic character, but I would rather have a society which is willing to admit people of different races and ethnicities as long as these people are willing to fit in to this new society & become loyal patriots
-
I mean, I don't want to be excluded from American society simply because of my ancestry (Russian and Jewish). I want to fit into this country and do my best here. Heck, I'll even fight for the US if I get drafted--even if it's in defense of Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania.

Assuming they convert before immigrating, they would be welcome.

Hard to intermarry with a population, a substantial percentage of which want to kill you. Slightly different (I assume) in the US. Same with potential people wanting to cross a completely open border.
-
According to
@Go321D , and I understand that he's right, it's only the mother's identity as a Jew that matters. So if the Palestinian Arab men just come in and rape all the women until they're pregnant, the offspring will all be Jews, and the populations will be merged. - 1 more reply

Thus, a Jewish woman can fuck all the Chinese people or Hindus that she wants, and her daughters can do likewise, and so can her daughter's daughters, and their descendants will still be considered Jewish and eligible to immigrate to Israel--even if they'll be mostly of nonJewish
-
The amazing thing about alienated Jews is their ability to take some half-understood halacha ridiculously out of context, and then spin a web out of it. Reality is that by the 3rd or 4th generation, these descendants are indifferent or just active Jew-haters.
-
So, why not require both parents of a child to be Jewish? This could eliminate a lot of Jew-haters from the Jewish community if your analysis here is correct.
-
Why not decide that pork is kosher, or that you can drive on Shabbat? There would be obvious benefits to both.
-
I have absolutely no problem with both of these things. In fact, I just ate pork right now!
-
Well, there you go. I give it two generations before you are gone with no trace.
-
We've already survived two generations of intermarriage, though. Thus, I wouldn't count on it. I'm not big into halakha, but then again, a sizable percentage of American Jews aren't either. A lot of them intermarry, don't eat kosher, drive on the Sabbath, et cetera.
