What's more compelling, the implicit meaning of Philip Roth's definition of Jewish guilt, or the fact that liberal Jews have an intermarriage rate of 70%, and liberal Jewish leaders celebrate intermarriage/conversion and say that Jews should become more "racially diverse"?

Re inter-marriage: The only change I would make in my trilogy is to revise Ch9 of SAID. Jewish power may decline long term because of it, but has not affected it at this time. It's irrelevant to the influence and motivations of the figures discussed in CofC.

It's implicit in the countless Jewish advocacy groups and community centers that can be found in literally every major city in The Occident. To argue Jews aren't extremely ethnocentric is to argue in bad faith.

Chabad Jewish centers are in most cities of the world incl Asia. They don’t welcome non-Jews. Most ethnocentric human group ever.

Oh dear. I now see that one person is in this thread is a "radical intersectionist poet." Truly that is sickness enough.

Horace Kallen, inventor of the concept of multiculturalism. Supported multiculturalism as an antidote to the loss of Jewish identity in America's melting pot, he was also a rabid Zionist, no multiculturalism for his people.

Does not any minority which wishes to maintain its existence as a minority not wind up being particularly ethnocentric?
