    Steve Sailer Retweeted Amazon Policy

If it's good for Jeff Bezos's wallet, it's probably bad for mine and yours.https://twitter.com/amazon_policy/status/1022188649260240896 …

    Steve Sailer added,

    Amazon PolicyVerified account @amazon_policy
Amazon applauds @KevinYoder on the passage of his amendment to the @DHSgov appropriations bill, H.R. 392, that would remove the per-country limit on green cards. This is an important step towards green card reform, and Amazonians thank you for your leadership on this issue.

Well if they maintain an overall quota, then removing the per-country limit means the US can import only high-skilled Asians, which is probably a lot of what Bezos wants. Enables more selective immigration I'd guess.

Per-country limit was only limiting to China and India, and it's not like we had a shortage from there in the first place

For all the talk about how brilliant these Asians are, why are these people almost nonexistent in Classics, Philosophy, Fine Art, Literature departments? We have two regions, China/Subcontinent, that make up around 50% of the planet, all of their inhabitants

Studying, exclusively,STEM. What is surprising, given the sheer numbers of them, is how proportionally few of them there are at the highest levels of their respective STEM fields.
