In light of recent discussion of the French World Cup team, see my post from a year ago about the illusion of French "ethnicity." https://goo.gl/NdtxaZ  @charlesmurray @steve_sailer.

firstly, a disproportionate number of islamic terrorists in europe in the last decade or so have been berbers, not arabs. in spain as well as in france and belgium. secondly, it doesn't matter if what is considered ethnically french was only recently defined...

...what matters is that many of the terrorists came from populations in north africa with very different recent evolutionary histories than those of western, or even eastern and southern, europe. it's likely, therefore, that they've got a diff set of avg traits, if only slightly.

It's right that the "emblematic" islamists operating in France come from Maghreb and sub-Saharian countries. But former French colonies. The exchanges between Metropolitan France and these countries is so intensive that this constitutes a proto-nation and they acts as nationals.

well, they're not acting as french nationals. that's the problem right there. not so many of the terrorists have been black, actually. a ridiculous number of them have been berbers, tho. in spain and belgium, too. charlie hebdo attacks. as far back as van gogh's assassination.

What is the ancestral background breakdown of the car-burners in the banlieues? Back during the big Car-B-Q of 2005, I could never get a straight answer on this. A lot of neocons wanted to portray it as a Muslim problem, but it sounded rather like Devil's Night in Detroit.
