Would @Steve_Sailer care to rebut? I'm not buying the NYT's explanation, but I can only make empirical arguments, not statistical ones.https://twitter.com/PGourevitch/status/1013983950442819584 …

Unfortunately for Hillary, the Constitution counts electoral votes, not running up popular votes in California. As I'd been pointing out for many years, post-Reagan GOP had left a lot of electoral votes on table by not doing well among working class whites in the upper Midwest.

The Midwest margin was kind of slim, but my argument would be that it counters the major media's own narrative about the primaries, that "deplorables" came out of the woodwork (those rural cabins, I guess) to vote for a "nativist" candidate

If the NYT is going to argue that she did not actually lose because of the "deplorables", then add that to long list of her many miscalculations

However, I do think the media narrative was correct. I remember in 1995 there was a militia guy being profiled by Spin magazine, and the phrase that stood out that was everyone of his (Vietnam) generation stopped voting after Reagan left office.

I think the militia guy in question was Bo Gritz, but in any case, those were the type of people who came out for Trump, not just because of immigration, but also because of the promise of a stymie to the NWO.

If the RNC actually wanted to win, they'd put Steve Sailer in charge of overall strategy.

Frankly, as a CA resident, I strongly doubt the validity of my state's voter rolls. I would not be surprised to find so many foreign nationals voted here as to eliminate the popular vote margin, especially when immigration was such a key issue.

You actually think there is a constitution. That is rich. And next you'll be telling me that votes count, like we live in a democracy or something. Time to wake up. Trump was only a fluke.
