TV superstar Danny Thomas (a Lebanese Maronite Catholic born Amos Muzyad Yakhoob Kairouz in Michigan in 1912) started building his famous St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis in late 1950s. Presumably, he didn't suffer any racial disabilities in Tennessee during Jim Crow era. https://twitter.com/notjayfivekille/status/1011456046391578625 …

Comedian Danny Thomas, founder of St. Jude's Children's Hospital, was a Maronite Catholic. Does that make him eligible to be a Roman Catholic saint? Growing up Catholic in LA in 1960s-70s, you heard a lot from people about what a great guy he was.
@Pontifex, look into this!
