The right answer is that the question shouldn't even be asked in the way it is, since it gives credibility to the idea that most Jews are bothered enough by things some other Jew or Gentile said as your typical NYT writer with a hyphenated last name.

Identity politics sounds a lot more intelligent when it's propagated by people who aren't idiots. Concerns about the KKK might in fact be more ridiculous than concerns about the police. Someone should investigate.
