    There should have been an "alone" in there somewhere, as in "Emotional intelligence 'alone' does not lead to ..." It was a section headline; the next 4 graphs provide context. Awareness is a good start; bet you've worked hard over 10 years to get to where you are, as have I. :-)

    in your article "Don't believe the hype around 'emotional intelligence' " you wrote "emotional awareness does not lead to behavioral change." Over the past 10 years, my behavior has changed drastically because of choosing to be more emotionally aware.
