Absolutely impressive motor control, though I wouldn't mind seeing it without access to facial cues - he's staring at her face so I wonder if grimaces or slight nods are giving cues for pausing versus extracting a block. Still very impressive of course!

I would've. My Golden Retriever learned how to open peanut butter jars. Not chew them open, hold them in her paws and unscrew the undamaged lid with her teeth. We discovered this when we found the first one open on the floor licked clean with a new flat surface after coming home

I miss that dog every day. She also figured out how to open simple door latches (IE, those on a typical storm door). Dogs can be smarter than people give them credit for.

I had an Aussie, he was from a rescue, he failed 4 adoptions, he was smart & wanted a job where he felt like he was doing something important, especially if we were partners.If I gave him a task, he’d show amazing concentration to figure it out. He lived with me for 12 years.
