This is 100% identical to me saying, "I'm so sorry your house burned down while I watched, but it's not my fault. The water company is the absolute worst, and I just refuse to turn on the hose and give them any more money." But I'm really sorry about your house.
I guess my view and advice, which is worth what you pay for it, would be this. Elections are about the future and are always a choice. Looking forward is how you cross the finish line first. Arguing about elections past helps Trump

There is truth to what you say, but the side effects of Trump in the WH will impact the decendents of children not yet born. We must review how we got here or we will be stuck or go in circles. DT chauvanists have dug their feet in & are lost votes & so we need every other vote.

Those who argue abt elections past don't seem invested in anything else. Thank you, Mr Schmidt for standing up for our shared values as Americans invested in a more perfect union, not because we are perfect but because we are heirs to our Republic and Democracy.

Pointing out to people that their refusal to vote has real, and sometimes tragic, consequences is not, in my opinion, arguing "abt elections past." It's stating a rock hard, inescapable fact: That our democracy is doomed if people sit on the sidelines.

Let’s not talk about elections past but we must talk about NEVER, EVER allowing a psycho like Trump in again. The only way to do that is to remind those that voted for him that they were wrong.
