I watched @MalcolmNance on @VelshiRuhle today and it brought me to tears listening to him talk about Senator McCain. His words were eloquent and passionate, just like yours today, Steve. We should all hope to live our lives with as much honor as John McCain.

I stand with Malcolm, I'm a retired Chief Master Sergeant who served in both Iraq&Afganistan. Outside the wire and know what it's like to face an enemy. The fear of being captured is always on your mind but you proceed with the mission because your country called on you to do so.
As Malcom said, Senior Non-comms have a responsibility to ensure our younger folks understand the what, whens and why, and call out the senior folks when they are wrong. We balance all parts of the mission and ensure orders are executed.
