I disagree with your logic there. The tax bill was extremely popar with Charles and David Koch. You know perfectly well Republicans will always choose to please those two and anger regular voters, rather than vice versa. AFP owns the primaries.

Isn’t the important question: did they really think this would be good for the economy, or are they just paying back their donors? Because that goes to the heart of what representations should be vs what it really is in the gop.
