The Queen is a ceremonial head and carries no real governmental power in Canada

The UK has a complicated system. Technically, the PM is appointed by the Sovereign. But the Sovereign has no active political power. It is not codified, but is followed by custom. Frankly, if the Queen wished to, she could regain power by dissolving Parlimenr. But very unlikely.

The Queen has no political power, she is merely only figure head of the commonwealth. We repatriated the constitution from the UK in 1982 and have our own Charter , British Parliament has zero control
