          The craziest part of this whole Russia story for me is Steele wanting to put the Dossier into the hands of someone in the GOP because of the perception of their patriotism. Wanted to get it to John McCain. Now trump and GOP have turned him into the enemy for their base.

          John McCain has been consistent in his Russia warnings. Not so much a GOP placement as a patriotic choice. I believe still the case with McCain. Can’t say that for McConnell.
