Many schools will threaten this. This is a great opportunity for parents to read MLK’s letter from a Birmingham jail with their kids. Some laws and rules are unjust and sometimes a cause is worth breaking laws and rules. Take the suspension with pride, a smile and stoic resolve

In High School, circa 1974, a teacher gave me an “F” cuz I went to a demonstration against The War in Vietnam. Mom gave me permission, fought teacher and we prevailed. These extraordinary students will too.
