I know I should be over it, but the speed at which the organized conservative movement became the ideological home of Marion Le Pen, Seb Gorka, Nigel Farage, Dinesh D'Souza and their ilk remains shocking to me.
You seem quite intolerant of the possibility that people might have different view points or that your political opponents might be well intentioned. You may believe your ideology makes you virtuous but you come across much like Trump cult members do.

Big fan of yours, but Ailes, Newt and their ilk started this decades ago. I guess those of us on the receiving end were more attuned because we weren’t aligned ideologically from the beginning.

It’s easier to tolerate if you agree with much of the message or policies. It’s a slow drip. Many have now been fully brainwashed or decided this aligns with all their worst compulsions. Some, like you, Wallace, Wilson et al, now see the inevitable results in their entirety.

I remember being a 21 year old bartender & having nightly debates with my Republican head chef. I recall understanding and occasionally agreeing with his beliefs. But now trying to fathom these outlandish standpoints that have overtaken this GOP makes my head literally hurt..
