Steve first came to my attention in Sacramento and, while we're of opposing political parties, have always appreciated his forthright honesty, even in disagreement. Opposition to the Trump regime has united all people of conscience.

Steve, I simply would have never believed what’s happened to the Republican Party. Conservative values & principles are an important restraint and counterbalance against change without purpose as can happen in excess liberalism. But, Republicans aren’t acting conservatively.

There was a time when I could respect Republicans (at least many) despite differences in philosophies. In recent years, they have so degraded themselves that I now consider the GOP an enemy of the people and a clear & present danger to the stability & future of our country.
