Not one to correct @SteveSchmidtSES, but when you say both parties have produced a $20 trillion debt, most people hear that as a spending issue. And, sure, America has a spending problem. But it's also a revenue issue, and only one party is working hard to lower revenues.

Where, what programs would you cut?

On the spending side, I'm looking hard at where we spend most of our discretionary money. The military. We're already the top spender, we can afford to not only *not* increase spending, but to trim down in some reasonable ways.

Republicans love to compare current tax cutting proposals to those that occurred under JFK, but they aren't the same. JFK cut rates from extremely high to still pretty high. We're not considering cutting from low to even lower. 1/
