Actually, Sarah Sanders was hired not elected. She didn't "swear an oath". She's not here to serve the people. She works for the President. With that being said, I don't see how she sleeps at night.

She is a commissioned officer. An Assistant to the President. She works for and is paid by the American people. She serves at the pleasure of the President and she most certainly took an oath. You can even watch her taking it. Google it

Steve, every Jack and Gill in America is now a constitutional expert. Ppl just run their mouths carelessly without any efforts to do simple research. I'm also a Republican and always happy to hear you for us the sane ones. Thanks for always keeping it real, brother

In the way Obama was what the coutry craved after W. had served his term, and in the way that Trump was a response to no drama Obama's style, I think your experience, integrity, rectitude and respect for institutions is what the country will be looking for in '20. Run Sir.

So by breaking the oath, is she (& those before her) subject to oversight and potential prison time/fines/losing her job and future benefits? With no repercussions how is any oath meaningful?
