Care to comment on 2008 McCain campaign tax proposals? I give you credit for being reasonable in the last year, maybe more. But you need to own the fact that your guy and your party have been at this for a very long time, and you did your best to make it happen.
I am for fundamental tax reform that drives growth and lifts wages for working class Americans. This legislation doesn't do that. It is a travesty.

Thanks for reply. I respect you for doing it. I also don't think you can plausibly argue that what your campaign proposed in 2008 wasn't deficit-financed shift in favor of wealthiest. Again, kudos for changing ways. But it's important to be honest about past lest we repeat it.

Have you seen the editorial by the CEO of La Colombe? He lays it on the line--that what business really needs in the current climate is not a corporate tax break, but a strong middle class that can buy his products. Really great.
