Here was my point. HC makes up 1/6 of American economy and 100 percent of people. Not good major legislation is straight party line.https://twitter.com/jeruvia/status/892361921822851072 …

I like @SteveSchmidtSES but he made a phony argument this morning comparing @TheDemocrats today & @GOP when @POTUS44 was in office.

So root issue is why McConnell/ Ryan want to destroy market-based HC when it was an R idea & Dems moved off single payer? Why repeal?

Votes last week should put to rest the notion that votes mostly reflect policy impact evals. Party strategy also yields united caucuses.

Can we please keep in mind O-Care was a republican plan developed by a republican think tank. No R votes points to their intransigence

Rs decided not to vote for it even after adding amendments to what was originally a Republican plan. That was obstructionism.

It appears as neither party understands that Health Insurance =/= Healthcare. Both issues need to be considered.

I watched C-Span hearings with families. Also Senate committee amendments. R's were NOT shut out. Only poison pill amendments.

What if the other party won't vote for it even if it was originally their bill? And they got to amend it 100+ times?
