Those who support Trump and turn a blind eye to what he has done. I know so many of these personally. They make excuses and contradict plain facts in order to remain comfortable in what they want to be true.
So many that I know, truly believe his repeated rhetoric about his own greatness and what he alone has done for them.
The strong man rides the wave of a mob of uncritical supporters. Add the elites -- the Kochs (who filled a fair part of early Trumpland), fossil fuel elites/petro-states, the Mercers, Erik Prince, Peter Thiel. Cruz, Hawley, Pompeo (a Koch creation) all want this.
